Invite the Whole Family to Bier-O-Ween at Shipgarten on October 29th

Halloween enthusiasts of all ages flock to Shipgarten every year for the annual Bier-O-Ween party! This year the fun kicks off at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 29th with everything from face-painting for the kids to pints of local craft brews for the adults. As the day wears on, expect the fun to only continue to grow!

Kids can trick-or-treat between the four distinct bars at Shipgarten starting at 3 p.m. Each is housed within its own revamped shipping container and surrounded by plenty of open beer garden space where kids can trade their loot for other favorites. That space will also play host to lawn games and a Kids’ Corner with crafts and moonbounces. If you leave your little ones at home, head to the candy-pairing beer tasting at 3 p.m. You might overhear characters from Hocus Pocus putting on a live performance or live music as you enjoy the Shipgarten Lager paired with candy corn or the Hacker Pschorr Oktoberfest complemented by peanut butter cups. Even though the festival officially winds down at 6 p.m., you can stick around for DJ-spun tunes, adult “trick-or-treating,” and even more pours until Shipgarten closes at 2 a.m.
